Saint Peter the Apostle (Jack)

Saint Peter was a very important person of his time in the church. He helped the church grow significantly and he was also the "rock" of the church. Peter played many roles, a close apostle of Jesus, a pope, an inspiration and leader for many, and a brother. Saint Peter was also remembered for being mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. Peter had a long successful life, Peter died sometime between A.D. 64 and A.D. 68. He has a connection to me because he spread love to many and tried to lead his friends and followers.

I chose St. Peter the Apostle as my confirmation saint and here's why. I have always had an interest in St. Peter. He inspired me because he was kind of a leader of the apostles, and he was one of Jesus' closest friends. He is also very popular, he was the first pope of the church, and he was mentioned over 200 times in the Bible. I have always learned about him and liked the stories he was in, so I figure that I'd choose him as my saint and learn more about him. He was also a big inspiration to me.
