Calling All Young Designers: The Great London to Amsterdam Jersey Competition!

FOSS has a very exciting challenge for the creative minds of our school!

This summer, an incredible team of 34 parents and carers will be jumping into their saddles for a massive fundraising challenge: cycling all the way from Twickenham to Amsterdam! They’ll be pedaling through the scenic roads of the Netherlands to raise vital funds for charity, including FOSS.

We want our cyclists to look the part, so we are inviting the children of St Stephen’s to help design the official team cycling jersey. 

How to Enter: Accompanying this newsletter is a jersey template. To make sure your design can be printed clearly onto the team's lycra kit, please follow these rules:

• Go 2D: Use pencils, felt tips, or crayons.

• Keep it Flat: Please avoid using collage or thick paint effects, as these don't transfer well to fabric.

• Leave Room for Logos: Don't worry about adding sponsor or charity logos; we will add those to the final winning design!

Whether you want to draw inspiration from the tulips of Amsterdam, the sights of London, or the spirit of St Stephen’s, we want to see your most creative ideas!

Submission Details

Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, please hand it into the front office. The deadline for entries is Friday 13th March 2026.

We can't wait to see our parents wearing their student-designed kit as they cross the finish line in Amsterdam!

Join FOSS!

We are a newly formed committee and would love to have more input from parents throughout all year groups, you don’t need to commit to huge chunks of time, we will happily work with you to find out what it possible, or if you have an event you’d like to bring to the calendar please get in touch and let us know.

What you can do to help

With a few people stepping back we are eager fill those positions to make sure we’re going to be able to continue supporting our school so please chat to us in the playground or contact us via your rep or email foss@ststephensTW1.onmicrosoft.com 

We are specifically looking for volunteers to help with: 

• The school uniform shop

• The children's Christmas cards
