In the Early Years Foundation Stage, our approach to French is rooted in exploration and play. We aim to ignite a natural curiosity about the world and its many voices by listening, playing and discovering. By the end of EYFS, pupils will feel at home with the sounds of a different language, laying the essential groundwork for their KS1 journey.
