Whole Child Matters Initiative

Do you have a child with challenging behavior at your early childhood program? Are you unsure how to help him or her?

The Whole Child Matters initiative promotes a strong mental health foundation for children in an effort to reduce preschool and kindergarten expulsions. Services include on-site interventions and child/family-focused help to parents, teachers and staff.

When a child struggles with behavioral or emotional challenges, their performance in school may be negatively impacted. Whole Child Matters works to help young children in preschool through third grade cope with these challenges. We also extend our services to parents and guardians through our optional parenting groups. Both this program and our parenting groups are offered at no cost to the community.
