  • Define, post & teach 3-5 positive classroom rules and expectations

  • Rules reflect distance learning environment (e.g., log in on time for each session, one voice at a time, remaining on mute, video or no video; use chat feature)

  • Virtual classroom norms are established to ensure continuity and minimize distraction of instruction

  • Classroom rules and norms are reviewed at each session, modeled and reinforced

  • Virtual classroom expectations are posted in the Learning Management System

  • Hard copies of rules are available, as needed
