Instructional Resource Center (IRC)

The Instructional Resource Center (IRC) is a lending library available to SSD staff and families of SSD students. We offer instructional and curricular items, adaptive and assistive technology devices, online subscriptions, professional materials, and more. Most items have a 2-month checkout duration. Since we are a lending library, all items are provided free of charge.

Staff and families can visit our online catalog to search for items, view their account status, place items on hold, and renew items online.

Students and staff can also access MoreNet's selection of online databases for research through the IRC. From schools, login should be automatic. Please email the IRC for the username and password to gain access from home. Staff can learn more information about the IRC on the SSD Gateway.

If you are a family member interested in checking items out from the IRC, please review this informational flyer. Families can request an account through this Google Form.

Our goal is to provide a premier lending library to District staff and families. We are here to support learning by providing free resources.  If we don’t have what you’re looking for, please let us know. All suggestions are considered for future purchase.

For questions or assistance, please call 314.989.8334, email, or stop by when you get a chance. The IRC is located on the lower level of SSD’s Central Office. SSD staff members should bring their SSD badge with them.
