Adding schools to your Colleges I'm Applying to List
Colleges --> Apply to Colleges --> Colleges I'm Applying to
From there, click the pink circle with the "+" on the right side of the screen
Enter the college name in the search bar
Complete the other required fields
For UC and CSU click ADD APPLICATION
For these applications, there is no more to do in Naviance. Just submit your applications on the UC and CSU sites, and you are done!
For all other schools click ADD APPLICATION AND REQUEST TRANSCRIPT
On the following screen, only request the initial transcript and mid year transcripts at this time. Please DO NOT click final. You will request a final when you have decided where you are attending!
Repeat until you have added all of the schools you are applying to!

Unofficial transcripts can be easily printed for students and/or parents for personal use and remain unsigned. Parents of current students can print unofficial transcripts through their Infinite Campus Portal. It is listed under "reports." (this is what you use to see what you have completed - you can print for yourself at any time)
Official transcripts are those typically requested by 4-year colleges, community colleges, scholarship organizations, NCAA, and possibly other institutions. An official transcript will be signed by our registrar and properly sealed or sent directly through Naviance. For college application purposes, ALL transcripts will be sent using Naviance.
For official transcripts, there are several different transcript types that vary by when they are needed during the application process.
Initial transcripts are transcripts needed at the time of application. Please note that UC/CSU do NOT want initial transcripts. You will self-report your grades in the application.
Mid year transcripts are sent after first semester grades are published. Colleges are aware that the availability of these will vary by high school, so do not stress about the college's deadline and know that if you have requested them, they will be sent as soon as they are available.
Final transcripts only need to be sent to the college where you have accepted their offer of admission (aka where you are attending!)
Requesting Transcripts in Naviance (2nd Method)
If you need to request transcripts AFTER you have already added colleges to your Colleges I'm Applying to List, follow these steps:
Colleges --> Colleges I'm Applying To
On the right hand side of your page, hit "+ Request Transcripts"
Select the type of transcript you are requesting (see descriptions above)
Select the colleges that are requesting your official transcript. UC/CSU do NOT want transcripts at the time of application.
Transcript requests should be made at least 10 business days prior to the college's deadline.
