Financial Aid Applications

Why all students should complete the FAFSA/CADAA!

  1. It’s free.

  2. It gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college or career school.

  3. You might be eligible for federal grants, which you don’t have to pay back.

  4. You could qualify for work study jobs on campus.

  5. Some scholarships require that you complete the FAFSA.

  6. The income threshold for qualifying changes and many different factors are taken into account when determining aid eligibility.

  7. Community College Promise Programs (aka free tuition!) typically require you to complete the FAFSA/Cal Dream, regardless of whether or not you are awarded federal aid.

  8. You have a whole team at Cal ready to help you!
