Draw Your Houseplants

April 15, 2020

Hey there Sun Valley gardeners! Here is a simple and creative activity to help you get to know the plants you live with.

Some questions to think about:

What kind of plant is this?

What scientific name would you make up for it?

What plant parts can you see? (Roots, stem, leaves, flower, fruit, seed)

Is there anything special about the plant? (Thorns, fuzzy, sticky, etc)

If you want to share your drawing with the Sun Valley community please email it to madisonvanzandt@climatecorps.org
