Phys Ed & Yoga

This course allows students to focus on a combination of PE and Yoga. Take a break from your busy day to stretch, breathe and relax in our yoga studio. Students will practice mindfulness exercises that can help improve their overall well-being. Level 1, 2 and 3 are demonstrated for each yoga pose so that students may work at their own pace as we explore Hatha, Yin and Restorative type yoga practices.  In PE, students will learn strategies which support a healthy and active lifestyle. There will be opportunities for field trips for both PE and Yoga.  All Yoga props are provided. Everyone is welcome.   


Prerequisite: None for PE 10, PE 10 for PE 20, PE 20 for 30 and Yoga 10 for 20 and 20 for 30
