Medical Studies 10, 20, and 30 are courses that allow students to  explore career opportunities in the health care field such as paramedic, laboratory technician, pharmacist, massage therapist, occupational therapist, counsellor, licensed practical nurse, social worker, respiratory therapist, diagnostic imaging (x-ray, ultrasound), physician, nurse practitioner, dental assistant, chiropractor...

Student will also acquire knowledge of the body systems in health and disease and gain experience in caring skills such as vital signs assessment, communication, and sterile dressing change.

Medical Studies will build on the anatomy and physiology in the Biology 20 and 30 curriculums by creating understanding around ways to treat the client as a whole person and not just a disease or injury.

Students who successfully complete Medical Studies 30 have the opportunity to use the credits to apply to many post-secondary institutions and scholarships!!
