Give in what you want to get out!
As the year comes to a close and some, filled with anxiety, some regret and some, accomplishment, it is good to look back and reflect on the past year. Have you given yourself enough opportunities to make mistakes? Did you do that one thing that you've always aspired to do? If not, then maybe knowing that there are three months left of this decade will give you that extra push you need.
All Springers are about to enter a new chapter in their lives, and in my years at Springfield, I have learnt that reflection is important in order to grow. Maturity has led me to realise that if you want something in life, you have to mirror it. If you want good marks, put in the extra work and effort, if you want a peaceful world, start with yourself.
The time has come for us to bid farewell to the matrics, we do this in style and with tradition as we saw with the bitter-sweet valedictory. We wish our matrics good luck for their future endeavours. As for the grade elevens, we start the road towards giving ourselves more opportunities to make mistakes. It is indeed the beginning of the end.
