ApRIL 13 Update
American Baseball Coaches' Association - ABCA
The ABCA is the world's largest baseball coaching association. Over the past few years, they have increased their investment into coach development and have greatly expanded their coach education programs. Their annual coaches convention, Barnstormer Clinics, ACE Clinics, and additional resources are available to coaches throughout the world to further their repertoire and knowledge-base.
The ABCA has arranged multiple ways for coaches to continue to learn while we wait for the 2020 season to start:
#ABCAatHome Virtual Clinics will run on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM starting April 14 for ABCA members

The ABCA Resource Center will be added to multiple times through the week on the My ABCA app
All 2018 and 2019 Barnstormer Clinics will be available for FREE on the Baseball Coaches Insider website until April 20.

Free Resources during COVID-19 Quarantine
Several digital-based companies are offering free services and extended free trials for their products. A couple that I use frequently are The Athletic and SiriusXM. The Athletic is offering a 90 day trial. You can get high-quality sports news and data-driven, analytical insights for free. SiriusXM in-app streaming is free until May 15. They have ample amounts of music and sport talk shows. Just be sure to cancel your trials before they charge you! The trials are available here:
Baseball Spinner Activity - Coach Fred Corral (@FCorral34 via Twitter)
Arts and crafts time! Coach Corral provides instructions on how to create his baseball spinners. These spinners help visualize the spin of a 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs. Players can grip the ball and force it to spin, giving them a feel for how their grip and finger pressure can influence how the ball moves. It's also incredibly fun to fiddle and play with.
