As we journey through the beautiful weeks of Ordinary Time, the Church invites us to pause and notice God’s presence in the ordinary moments of our lives. October is also Mission Month — a special time when we remember that each of us is called to share God’s love through our words and actions.
Jesus reminds us,
“You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others.”
— Matthew 5:14–16
In our classrooms, playgrounds, homes, and communities, we can each be a light that brings hope, kindness, and joy to others. Whether it’s including someone who feels left out, showing gratitude, or lending a helping hand — these small acts of love make a big difference.
Let us pray:
Loving God,
You call each of us to share your love with the world.
Help us to see your presence in the everyday moments of life.
Inspire us to be lights of hope and compassion to those around us.
Bless our school community, our families, and all who serve others near and far.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
