We’ve been closely following the Growing Up & Giving Back Scholarship Campaign through the Alumni & Friends Society, and it’s inspiring to see their giving thermometer rise! Your generosity helps provide scholarships for our students, and we encourage you to get involved in this meaningful initiative.

Platteview Central's website has received a complete makeover, along with the SPCS district website! The new design offers a fresh, modern look, making it easier for students, parents, and staff to find important information and stay connected. The other schools in the district will be updating their websites in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for even more improvements. Paraprofessional Appreciation Day is coming on April 3! It’s a special day to recognize the incredible contributions of paraprofessionals, also known as teacher's aides or instructional assistants, who work tirelessly to support both students and teachers in the classroom.
Paraprofessionals play a crucial role in ensuring every student receives the help and attention they need to succeed. Their dedication and hard work often go unnoticed, but today we celebrate their invaluable support in creating a positive learning environment.
Thank you, paraprofessionals, for all that you do!
Regular school attendance is crucial for student success, and it's part of a nationwide campaign to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive. Missing school, even for a day or two, can have a significant impact on learning and academic progress. We encourage families to prioritize consistent attendance and remind students that every day counts. If your child is facing challenges that affect their attendance, please reach out to us—we’re here to help. Together, we can support our students and keep them on the path to success!
We’re excited to re-introduce our campaign to showcase the expansive reach of Springfield Platteview Community Schools! This campaign highlights our district’s impressive size and can be followed with the hashtag #SPCSGoesFar. Covering approximately 90 square miles, SPCS serves a diverse community from areas near Highway 75 to almost 204th Street (Hwy 6) and even north of Highway 370. Simply put, Springfield Platteview School District truly goes far! Stay tuned and join us in celebrating our wide-reaching community!
What an incredible weekend of performances from the talented cast of Platteview High School's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! From start to finish, the show was absolutely amazing. The dedication, energy, and creativity that went into this production truly shined. Great job to everyone involved!
