SYNOPSIS
The dazzling and satirical musical set in the roaring 1920s, centered around Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, who find themselves on trial for murder. As they vie for fame and fortune in a corrupt justice system, they use charm, deceit, and the media to sway public opinion. With its sultry jazz score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, including iconic songs like “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango,” Chicago showcases a thrilling blend of crime, celebrity, and showbiz, all told through Bob Fosse’s signature style of choreography. It’s a bold and glamorous commentary on the lengths people will go to chase their dreams of fame.
