Immunization Information

New Immunization Regulations for Pennsylvania:

  • At the beginning of the school year, every student MUST have received ALL of their immunizations , have a medical plan in place or have an exemption letter on file PRIOR to their first day of school. If not, you have 5 days to turn in the required information or risk EXCLUSION.
  • If the student is starting Kindergarten, a current immunization list is required to be turned in at registration. If the child will not receive all of the required immunizations by the first day of school, a medical plan, completed by the doctor, will be required.
  • Students transferring into the district during the school year will have 30 days to turn in the needed immunization documentation or receive the required immunizations. If not completed during those first 30 days, your child will risk EXCLUSION.
  • If you do not have a primary doctor or are unable to afford immunizations, Lehigh County offers immunization for free or for little charge, based on financial need. They are held every month and you must call to set up an appointment. The number is: 610-821-6770.
