Keep Calm and Love Owls!

My name is Nicole (Nickie) Castetter. I graduated from DeSales University with by Bachelors in Nursing degree in 1996 and earned my School Nurse Certification in 2013.   I have been working in Southern Lehigh School District since 2011.  I started out at Lower Milford Elementary School and moved to Hopewell Elementary in 2013. I also became the Certified School Nurse for Liberty Bell as well in 2016.  I then went back to school and earned my Master's Degree in Emergency Management from Millersville University in 2018. 

I have been married for 29 years to my wonderful husband, Chuck and I have one daughter, Jessie, who is 23 and graduated from SLSD 2021.  She graduated from Cedar Crest College, majoring in Elementary Education and is now a substitute teacher at Hopewell Elementary School.  My husband is the Fire Chief of Upper Saucon Fire Department and I have been a volunteer firefighter there for 32 years as well.  My daughter joined the fire department when she turned 14 as a Junior firefighter, so now we all volunteer together!  I love working at Hopewell as the School Nurse and meeting many new friends every year!
