If you want to try and have the supplies for both CHALK printing and SHAVING CREAM printing GREAT...if not that's OK. The video recommends to NOT USE SIDEWALK CHALK, however under these circumstances sidewalk chalk will work fine...your prints might not be as vibrant, but they will still look cool. When doing the cream prints if you do not have liquid watercolors you may use tray watercolors, or you may use cups to water down tempera or acrylic paint.
The art teacher in the video uses plastic bins as her printing tray...I like to use foil baking tins (aka what you cook a turkey or vegetables in) this way you can wash them if you want or throw them away when you are finished printing.
Once your prints are completed & dry you can just leave them as is or use them as a background for another awesome drawing or cut out shapes for collaging!
HAPPY PRINTING!!!

Because you are working from home you will NOT be creating a school wide mural, however I challenge you to create multiple feathers, cut them out, and hang them in your home as an Inspiration Uplifting Message during these challenging times.
You may use Crayon, Marker, or Colored Pencil to add color to your feather design.
Pro Tip...Draw your feather & patterns first using a pencil this way if you make a mistake you can erase and start over. Once you are happy with your design trace over your pencil lines with Sharpie.
