You may omit all paints and use brightly colored markers to fill in four squares on paper instead of canvas...then add lines using the same color marker but in a darker value (example if the square is light blue make lines with a dark blue marker). Next use colored paper and cut out 4 flowers, glue down...finally add black dots to the center of all flowers using a Sharpie.

Marion Rose's trademark to the art world is her use of exciting color and strong expressive brushwork.
Marion's choice of subject matter is a constant mix of her love for animals and her passion for travel.
Her childhood years were spent shadowing her father and uncles who were avid outdoorsmen. Marion spent the next 14 years tending to over 300 sheep, helping to raise a herd of cattle, caring for mulitple horses and traveling to numerous rodeos. 18 year ago she moved to BC as a long time urge to live in the "real mountains" and enjoy a mild climate was a dream she often longed to fulfill.
Marion Rose passed away in 2011. Some of her original artwork is still often for sale thus continuing to share her passion for creativity and art...just as she would've wanted.
Your challenge is to watch the YouTube video as a guide for how to create a rabbit's body, and then add color honoring the style of Marion Rose.
The main focus of your art should be the rabbit/bunny drawn large and filling most of your paper space just as Marion Rose would've done.
Your rabbit should be at least 5-7 different colors
Add an environment such as grass, twigs, plants, trees, etc.
You may use paint, watercolors, crayons, markers, or colored pencils to add the colorful impressionist feel to your Marion Rose inspried animal art.
If you think you want to use paint or watercolors to create your bunny...you may watch the second video as this is a demonstration of someone painting in a style similar to Marion Rose.

Wanted posters first began in the "Old West" as a way for police to alert communities of criminals that were on the loose. All posters contained a picture of the criminal, the suspect's name, and a reward that would be given if that criminal was apprehended and turned into law enforcement. Instead of using the tradtional cowboy theme character...lets get a little crazy and create a wanted poster for a pirate!
As you know pirates were known for causing trouble and breaking the law...so here is your chance to create a crazy rule breaking pirate of your own.
Your pirate can be male or female, old or young.
Pro Tip...instead of writing the word wanted in crayon I would suggest using marker. Also I would draw your design with pencil first, then trace over your image with Sharpie. Crayon, Marker, or Colored pencil can be used to add color.
Below are a few pirate face examples if you need some inpiration.
Hokusai became famous for his landscapes created using a palette of indigo and imported Prussian blue. As we know waves are very unpredictable. One minute they’re there and the next they’re gone. Hokusai had a great ability to capture waves in all their many forms. He returned to the subject over and over again throughout the course of his art career spanning from the 1790s until his death in 1849. His most famous being...“The Great Wave.”
