I’m currently forming a limited number of small group tuition spaces starting in June, designed for children who need more than just extra practice.
These sessions are ideal for pupils who:
Lack confidence or hesitate when working independently
Understand topics but struggle to apply them consistently
Are capable, but not currently being stretched enough in class
Unlike traditional tutoring, I don’t place children into fixed classes.
Instead, I:
Speak with parents to understand each child’s needs
Consider ability, confidence, and learning style
Carefully match pupils into small, focused groups
This approach ensures:
The pace is right for every child
The environment feels supportive and comfortable
Each pupil can actively participate and make progress
Small groups (4–6 pupils)
Focused on confidence, understanding, and challenge
Structured sessions tailored to the group
Calm, supportive teaching approach
With a background in teaching, I understand both:
The expectations children face in the classroom
And what they need to feel confident and capable within it
“My child’s confidence has completely changed. They used to avoid maths homework — now they actually give things a go without getting upset.”
“The small group makes such a difference. It’s not overwhelming, and they feel comfortable asking questions.”
“We tried other tutors before, but this is the first time it’s really clicked. The focus on understanding rather than rushing through work is exactly what was needed.”
Sessions are £20 per session, delivered in small groups.
This includes:
Structured, high-quality teaching
Individual attention within a small group
Ongoing focus on confidence, understanding, and progress
I am currently:
Gathering interest from parents
Identifying suitable groupings
Finalising the most appropriate days and times
⚠️ Only a small number of groups will be created (typically 2–3), with a maximum of 4–6 pupils in each.
Once groups are formed, spaces are unlikely to reopen until later in the term.
Groups will only be created where there is a strong fit, ensuring every child benefits from the environment.
If you’d like your child to be considered for a place, the next step is simple:
👉 Send me a WhatsApp message with:
Your child’s year group
The main area they are finding difficult (or where they need more challenge)
I’ll then:
Ask a couple of quick follow-up questions
Keep you updated as groups are formed
Let you know if a suitable space becomes available

Groups are currently being organised. Days and times are confirmed once groups are formed, based on availability and the best fit for each child.
Sessions typically focus on maths and/or English, depending on the needs of the group.
Groups are carefully matched based on:
Ability level
Confidence
Learning style
This ensures sessions feel supportive, productive, and appropriately challenging.
This is very common — and exactly what these sessions are designed to support.
The small group setting helps children feel more comfortable, and confidence is built gradually through structured success.
These sessions also support children who need more challenge, helping them deepen understanding and push further rather than staying comfortable.
No — registering interest simply allows me to consider your child when forming groups and keep you updated.
This isn’t about pressure or cramming.
It’s about helping your child feel:
More confident
More capable
More willing to have a go
Because that’s where real, lasting progress begins.
If you're not sure whether this would be a good fit, feel free to WhatsApp me and I can talk you through it.
