SOP and Resonant for Wine: who we are, what we do, and why we do it
SOP – Save Our Planet is a certified Benefit Corporation and a sustainable company. Founded in 2001 with the aim of making intensive agriculture more sustainable, it develops innovative solutions based on a unique proprietary technology and product lines that are continuously optimized and validated through field trials and university research.
The Resonant for Wine product line is the result of optimized formulations and scientific field testing, and includes products for viticulture.
Our team includes agronomists, soil scientists, biologists, engineers, and experts in sustainable agriculture, all highly specialized and with internationally recognized professional experience.
Sustainability Certified
We at SOP strive to further improve our own sustainability by reducing the environmental impact not only of our customers but also of our employees and partners. Our focus on all stakeholders has led us to obtain B Corp certification.
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, for which we hold an alignment certification covering all 17 SDGs, as well as an ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) rating of AAA, which assesses a company’s ability to ensure sustainability and the social and environmental impact of its activities.
Furthermore, the Resonant for Wine products are certified as sustainable both in terms of the products themselves and their application protocols, and are compatible with conventional viticulture as well as sustainable systems, including organic, biodynamic, and regenerative farming practices.
The Story Behind the Innovative SOP Inside Technology
Thanks to over 20 years of research and development, the SOP Inside technology has given rise to the Resonant for Wine product line.
We aim to create a real and lasting impact on the lives of winegrowers. For this reason, we conduct scientific trials and studies with renowned universities worldwide and collaborate with multinational companies and winegrowers, with the goal of validating our efficacy, refining our products, and ensuring they are ready for field application.
Starting from laboratory research in Italy and subsequently expanded through multiple trials across the country and in California, the Resonant line has been successfully implemented in prestigious wineries in Italy and the United States.
Our new product line
Since its inception, the SOP Inside technology and its vineyard products have been continuously researched under the direct supervision of Marco Poggianella, CEO, co-founder, and researcher at SOP.
The entire viticulture product line has incorporated significant innovations and improvements that maximize and accelerate their beneficial effects.
