Basketball or something similar in size to a basketball
Basketball hoop or a household item (circular bin or laundry basket)
Something to mark the shooting line (chalk, tape, cones, etc.)
For Free throws, count out 15 feet from the front plane of the backboard. You can either measure this by using a tape measure or by taking 15 steps from under the basket. Get yourself squared up with the middle of the rim and begin your free throw contest!
You will take 10 Shots by lining up behind the shooting line and shooting at the basket. You will receive 1 point for each successful shot scored. The maximum score for this event is 10. The minimum score is 0. (i.e. If you score 5 out of the 10 shots, your final score will be 5)

Something to time yourself such as a stop watch or phone
For Lay ups, grab something to keep track of your time (stop watch, cell phone, watch). Try to see how many lay ups you can make in 60 seconds (you can stay on one side, or alternate from right to left).
Record and submit your final score after 60 seconds.
Once time starts you will count how many shots were made. Total number of shots made is your final score.

For Lay ups, grab something to keep track of your time (stop watch, cell phone), and put 60 seconds on the clock. Try to see how many lay ups you and your unified partner can make in 60 seconds (you can stay on one side, or alternate from right to left). Each person will shoot for 30 seconds and combine the two total scores.
Combine you and your partner’s scores in 60 seconds, record and submit.
Once time starts you will count how many shots were made. Total number of shots made is your final score.

Something to mark 10 meters (33 feet) or 10 large steps (chalk, tape, cones, cups, water bottle etc.)
Athlete begins behind the 10 meter start line and dribbles to the finish line as quickly and controlled as possible.
Athlete will dribble 10 meters, the time that it takes to get to the finish line is the score for the event.

Athlete will record the number of dribbles with one hand in 60 seconds.
Athlete will dribble for 60 seconds with one hand and record the number of dribbles, the total number of dribble the athlete gets is the athletes score (i.e. if you bounce the ball 30 times your score is 30)

Athlete will record the number of alternating dribbles in 60 seconds.
Athlete will dribble crossing over from one hand to the other hand (left to right or right to left) for 60 seconds and keep track of how many times they cross over. The total number of cross over dribbles will be the athletes score (i.e. if you cross over 10 times, your score is 10)

Athlete will record how many bounce passes he/she gets in 60 seconds
Athlete will find a safe place on the wall to perform a bounce pass, athlete will continue bounce passing to the wall for 60 seconds. When the 60 seconds are up, athlete will record his/her score based on the number of bounce passes completed.
Athlete will keep track of the number of bounce passes he/she received in 60 seconds. The number of bounce passes will be the athletes score (i.e. athlete completed 17 bounce passes, athletes score is 17).
