Did you know that you carry the most versatile instrument in the world with you every single day? In our Chorus program, students learn to unlock the power of their own voices. We focus on the "team sport" of singing—building confidence, improving vocal technique, and creating a sound that is much greater than the sum of its parts.

Chorus members are at the heart of our school’s creative culture!

Concert Excellence: Students will perform in our seasonal showcases, learning 

the art of stage presence and the thrill of a live performance.

Music in the Real World: To truly understand the power of their instruments, 

students will participate in a special field trip designed to show how music is 

woven into the fabric of our culture. 

Why Join the Chorus?

Singing is a unique physical and emotional outlet. It teaches breath control, active listening, and collaboration. In Chorus, students learn to support one another—literally and figuratively—as they blend their voices to create something beautiful. It’s a place to take risks, make friends, and find your unique sound.

New for 2026-2027

Students will be appropriately identified for Beginner Chorus or 

Advanced Chorus depending on their experience and skill.

Spotlight Solos (aka lessons) will be provided by the Choral Director and 

will be hosted as a second period of music.

The full Chorus ensemble will meet one time out of every 3 days and 

lessons will meet one time out of every 3 days.
