Whether you’ve never touched an instrument or you’re already a seasoned soloist, there is a chair waiting for you in our Band program! This is where teamwork meets talent. Students will choose an instrument—from the power of the percussion to the shine of the brass and woodwinds—and learn what it takes to make music as one unified voice.

Music in the Real World: To truly understand the power of their instruments, 

students will participate in a special field trip designed to show how music is 

woven into the fabric of our culture. 

Why Join the Band?

Band is a "full-brain" workout. It teaches students the value of consistent practice, the importance of listening to others, and the confidence that comes from performing under pressure. In this class, every student plays a vital role—when one person succeeds, the whole band sounds better.

New for 2026-2027

Students will be appropriately identified for Beginner Band or 

Advanced Band depending on their experience and skill.

Lessons will be provided by the Band Director and will be 

hosted as a second period of music.

Additional music support will be offered after school.

The Band ensemble will meet one time out of every 3 days and 

lessons will meet one time out of every 3 days.
