MTLT reflects the current practices of mathematics education, as well as maintaining a knowledge base of practice and policy in looking at the future of the field. Content is aimed at preschool to 12th grade with peer-reviewed and invited articles.
Wisconsin Teacher of Mathematics, the official journal of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council, is published online twice a year. The Wisconsin Teacher of Mathematics is a forum for the exchange of ideas. Opinions expressed in this journal are those of the authors and may not necessarily reflect those of the Council or editorial staff.
The Mathematics Educator strives to provide a forum for collaboration of mathematics educators at varying levels of professional experience. Its purpose is to promote the interchange of ideas among the mathematics education community, locally, nationally, and internationally and to present a variety of viewpoints on a broad spectrum of issues related to mathematics education.
Publishes articles on mathematical thinking, reasoning and learning, exploring the impact of technological advances, innovative instructional practices and more.
The journal provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences which contribute to the improvement of mathematics teaching and learning for students from upper secondary/high school level through to university first degree level.
Continuing its tradition of mathematics education leadership, NCTM has defined and described the principles and actions, including specific teaching practices, that are essential for a high-quality mathematics education for all students.
