Aspiring Educators
Aspiring Educators at SNC is an affiliate of the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) and National Education Association (NEA). Aspiring Educators is the only professional association in the state for pre-service educators to pursue professional development, community service, and advocacy opportunities. The organization is open to all students, but we primarily serve students planning on entering into careers in education. Here at SNC, Aspiring Educators meet at their discretion to work in their communities, coordinate events, and provide professional learning opportunities for members.

Best Buddies
Best Buddies is here to make sure everyone feels a sense of belonging. So let's make room for one more friend! Get to know a friend with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and be a part of something bigger by making an impact beyond our campus community! We partner with Syble Hopp School which is right down the road from SNC. This is great experience for educators, getting to know how to work with, build relationships with, and teach students with IDD.

SNC Pen Pals
SNC Pen Pals is an organization of St. Norbert College students working with freshman AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Programs at Green Bay area high schools. the mission of the organization is for SNC students to communicate with the high school students throughout the academic year via a "snail mail" letter exchange system, acting as a mentor and getting to know the student. The goal for the end of the program is to have the high school student more interested and informed about college as a possible option for their futures; but not necessarily St. Norbert College itself. The writing process ends each year with the high school students visiting the St. Norbert College campus to meet and spend time with their pen pals.

Center for Urban Teaching
The Center for Urban Teaching (CfUT) is an independent, Christian non-profit organization that identifies, prepares, and supports high-performing urban teacher and leaders for choice, charter, and public schools. CfUT partners with SNC to provide opportunities for learning about teaching in urban school settings. For more information, check out their webpage: https://cfut.org/
One of the great opportunities they provide is their Teaching Internship Program where you will immerse yourself in the vibrant and dynamic environment of urban education. This six-week experience includes an unforgettable overnight retreat in the picturesque setting of Green Lake, Wis. This retreat marks the beginning of a two-week bootcamp-style training program, which is followed by four weeks where you will lead your own classroom during summer school. This rigorous and demanding teaching internship is designed to build your confidence and accelerate your growth, while equipping you with essential skills for your career – and friendships that will last a lifetime.
