The following courses will be offered:
Asynchronous= Asynchronous learning allows you to learn on your own schedule, within a certain time frame. You can access and complete lectures, readings, homework and other learning materials at any time during a one- or two-week period.
Synchronous= Synchronous learning is a type of learning where students and instructors interact in real time, either in person or virtually, at the same time and place
F2F/In Person= In person learning allows you to learn in person with a professor at either Mission Hills High School or San Marcos High School. Student must attend on all dates and times listed on the flier. The AJ course at Mission Hills High School requires student personal transportation. Room numbers for any in person course at MHHS or SMHS will be provided at the Mandatory Orientation at the beginning of each semester.
Below is a tentative schedule for the fall and spring semester for the 2025-2026 school year. All courses, dates, times and format of the course are subject to change. Courses must meet minimum enrollment to run. *Courses are based upon enrollment and will differ each semester*

When taking a look at the CCC Course Catalog note that courses are offered in terms of units, while at the high school level courses are offered in terms of credits. Below is the equivalency:
2-3 college units = 5 SMHS elective credits
4-5 college units = 10 SMHS elective credits
Work Experience is an educational program available to students who are working while in high school. Students who enroll and complete the course earn 3 Palomar College Units (which are transferable to CSU) AND 5 SMHS elective credits per semester. To earn credit in Work Experience, the student must meet the following requirements:
1. Adhere to all due dates of assignments & attend orientation.
2. With the cooperation of the job supervisor, accomplish measured progress toward predetermined learning objectives during the semester.
3. Work a total of 225 (Paid) or 180 (non-paid) hours for the semester (average 15 hours/week). All paid time (including paid vacations, holidays, and overtime) may be included. Hours must be completed within the dates of the class. Students will submit a monthly report of time worked and progress made on 3 "Learning Objectives" established with their job supervisor at the beginning of the class.
