Canvas

• If students are experiencing issues logging into Canvas, they must submit a Help Ticket to the Academic Technology Resource Center (ATRC) immediately. 

  • When submitting a ticket 

    • Include a screenshot or photo of the error message

    • Monitor Palomar College stuent email for updates from ATRC

    • Respond promptly-failure to reply may result in the ticket being closed

How to submit a Canvas Help Ticket

1. Visit www.palomar.edu/atrc/

2. Click the Academic Technology Resources Centers Help link

3. Log in using your Palomar College student email and password

4. Click Submit Ticket (bottom right corner)

5. Search for a solution, then select "I still need to Open Ticket."

6. Complete the form and upload a screen of the error

MyPalomar

MyPalomar Student Center:

1. Learn how to navigate MyPalomar with helpful resources available on this site.

2. Sign into your MyPalomar Student Center to ensure you're enrolled in the correct class(es).

   • Path: Palomar.edu > MyPalomar > Sign-in > My Schedule (in the left navigation menu).

3. If there are any issues or if you need to drop a course, contact your high school counselor immediately.

• You can reset your Palomar password (for MyPalomar, student email, and Canvas) by following this path:
  Path: Palomar.edu > MyPalomar > MyPalomar Student Login > Password Setup / Reset ID Help.

• If you forget your "hint response," email admissions@palomar.edu with your full name, Palomar ID number, date of birth, and address on record to request they reset your password, so you can create a new one.

• Palomar Student Email: Access your Palomar email in MyPalomar. Use your full student email address and Palomar password. All official communications from Palomar College will be sent to this email, so check it regularly.
