Coaching Guides

Coaching guides provide a framework for conversations between Participating Teachers and Support Providers over the course of Induction. There are four coaching guides that need to be completed each year of induction.

• Support Providers should open the Coaching Guide template, go to File > Make a Copy, and rename the coaching guide to include the PT last name. Then, SPs should share the copy with their participating teachers.
• Support Providers should record notes during each meeting, and provide their initials and the date that the meeting occurred.

*If you or your support provider prefer to complete the coaching guide on paper, print the template and fill it in as you go. You will need to scan or take pictures of the handwritten Coaching Guide to upload to your CTI Portfolio site if you decide to use physical copies.

Meeting Logs

Support Providers must also fill out one log for each of their Participating Teachers on the last day of the month. This log can be found on the support provider resources page.
