No. Physical & Health Education 10 is a required course for every grade 10 student. Sport Science 10 and Athletic Leadership 10 are term-long elective courses.

Yes, students earn credit in Active Living 11 and Active Living 12, even if they take the same stream (e.g. Yoga, Human Performance) each year.
No, Blended PE is for students who have very restrictive timetables. Most students who are involved in high level athletics will take Fitness and Conditioning or Yoga and Wellness to complement their sport training and competition.
No. Each PE 11/12 course offered at SMUS covers specific learning outcomes outlined by the Ministry of Education curriculum requirements. Club sport does not cover the curriculum required for course credit.
If a student plays a sport at the provincial or national level, they can get Athlete Credit toward graduation, but this does not cover PE 11/12 curriculum learning outcomes. They can see their Academic Advisor for information about obtaining this credit.
