A 'Cadet-Run' Program...
Although supervised by our Senior Naval Science Instructor and Naval Science Instructor, our Unit consisting of over 150 cadets is commanded and operated by our Cadet Staff! Each with unique responsibility, our Cadet Staff members plan events and ensure the steady function of our Unit.
So what do we do?
Throughout their time in the Unite, cadets chosen to take on the responsibility of being a member of the Cadet Staff exhibit quality traits that distinguish them as leaders and responsible individuals which we rely upon to act as role-models and pillars of support for the Unit. These cadets attend bi-weekly staff meetings and help to contribute to the planning and functioning of the Great Mills High School Batallion.
Below You'll find the specific jobs and responsibilities of each staff member. You may also refer to the Unit Handbook, found both on the NJROTC Schoology page under 'Reference Files', as well as under the 'Resources' tab of our webpage.
