The Great Mills High School Wind Ensemble is an ensemble made up of students with previous band experience. The ensemble is primarily comprised of 11th and 12th grade students. Advanced musicianship, music theory, and instrument pedagogy will be reinforced through the performance of new and classic band literature of a mature nature at concerts, school assemblies, regional performances, and assessment festivals. Scheduled before/after school rehearsals are a requirement for this ensemble. Entry into this ensemble is by audition and selection only.
