The Great Mills High School Symphonic Winds is a combined ensemble consisting of members from all 3 Band-related classes with prior or new band experience. The ensemble is comprised of all grades from 9th to 12th grade. Musicianship, Music Theory, and Instrumental Pedagogy will be reinforced through performance of new and classic band literature of a mature nature at concerts, school assemblies, regional performances, and assessment festivals. Scheduled after school rehearsals are a requirement for this ensemble. Entry into this ensemble is through participation in any of the classes listed above.
