As part of our school’s comprehensive school counseling program, sometimes students are invited to participate in individual and/or group counseling sessions. School counseling activities are developmentally appropriate and intended to support students through their social and emotional growth so they can be successful in school. Sessions are short-term and solution-focused; a need for long term therapy will need to be referred out to an outside provider.
School counseling is voluntary; therefore, to be seen by the school counselor on a consistent time-bound schedule a parent/guardian signature is required. Please return signed consent forms to Alison Sayers, our school counselor.
