CPCS Response to Behavior

At CPCS, when students are having a difficulty time we use a supportive and restorative approach. We believe, like Ross Greene, that "Kids do well if they can," and it's our job to help students how to do well by incorporting the unique skills and motivations of our students. Below is how we generally respond to behavioral difficulties.

In all cases, we refer to the SMCPS student handbook and the best possible responses to keep all students safe and in spaces at school where they have the full opportunity to learn.
