"Growth and comfort do not coexist." - Ginni Rometty
Goal: In this module students will learn about implicit biases and microaggressions. They will discuss how other people's implicit biases and/or microaggressions could impact them, and how their own implicit biases (we all have them) could impact others.
Objective: By the end of the module students will be able to describe and identify different types of implicit biases and microaggressions. They will also be able to use strategies to work again their own implicit biases, specifically in student evaluations of course instructors.
IDEA(2) Focus: What does implicit bias look like in STEM professions?
