SMBSD’s Teacher Induction webpage will be accessible to the public without the requirement of login information. Information regarding the Teacher Induction Program will also be available on the website without requiring login information. We will advertise SMBSD’s induction program at job fairs, at our partner IHE’s, and partner districts.
SMBSD will provide the following information:
Mission and Vision Statements in the Teacher Induction Handbook on the website home page
Governance and administration information on the program information page
Admission procedures on the program information page
Coursework and fieldwork requirements on the program information page (see ILP below)
Individual Learning Plan information during the Induction Program Orientation and confirmation of the information in the Induction Program Professional Agreement
Information regarding the SMBSD Teacher Induction Program will be made available through a variety of means including but not limited to:
SMBSD provided assurances, signed by Matthew Beecher, SMBSD Deputy Superintendent, of these communication and information processes.
