Boyd School is a 35,000-square-foot retired elementary school with a full city block of underutilized land. The building will be adapted to become 14-18 housing units, depending on if educational classrooms can be utilized for preschool students. The land will include 10-14 new two-story buildings to add 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units for multi-family households including those with ADA accessibility needs for most first-floor units.
The property was purchased in November 2022 with predevelopment steps, including community engagement and further designing of the units, to begin in April of 2023.

Rancho Creede Housing Development
SLVHC is working on purchasing a 4 unit apartment complex in Creede, Colorado in the summer of 2023. After the purchase SLVHC will continue the planning of two additional buildings to include 8-12 additional units, a community room, and a laundry facility. With partnerships with Mineral County, City of Creede, and Creede Rep Theatre, the goal is to provide naturally affordable housing to the workforce of Creede.
Through continued community engagement and government financing, SLVHC hopes to provide the housing needed to support those who work in the City of Creede, those who support the amazing tourist economy of this beautiful community.
