Lab Information:
Machine Learning in Workplace Psychology relies on two research methods - machine leaning and traditional psychological methods - to study: (1) employee behavior, emotions, and cognition in the workplace, (2) individual differences across cultures, and (3) the development and validation of assessment instruments.
If selected, you will have the opportunity to work on (a) a job analysis project, (b) a study on communication overaccommodation, (c) research on workplace stressors, or (d) an investigation of cross cultural differences in international traveler behaviors. Project (a), (c), and (d) will use both machine learning and traditional research methods.
You are expected to have strong literature reading and writing skills AND/OR a solid knowledge of statistics and research methods. Programming skills and experience are preferred.
