Getting Around

Riding the Metrobus or Metrolink

Whether you're a full time faculty member who wants to save a few bucks on gas this money or a graduate student who enjoys the extra half hour to read while using public transport, it’s easy to get to Saint Louis University by Metrobus or Metrolink.  Monthly Metro passes are available for purchase at neighborhood grocery stores such as Schnucks or Dierbergs.  Bus transfers that may be used for up to four hours can be purchased on the Metrobus for $2.75.  If you are under 24 years of age, you may purchase a college semester Metro pass from Parking & Card services in the lower level of DuBourg Hall.

Where is my stop? When is the next bus coming?

Check the Trip Planner to see where and when the next available Metrobus or Metrolink can pick you up.

Trade in your four wheels for two: Cyclist friendly

St. Louis is slowly becoming more cyclist friendly.  Recently, in the summer of 2011, a new Downtown Bicycle Station opened on 411 N. 10th Street, Saint Louis, MO 63101.  For $20/month members may park and store their bicycles in a secure, sheltered area and have access to showers and locker rooms.  SLU supports bicycle commuters by providing many bike racks on campus.  Additionally, SLU cyclists may use the Simon Recreation Center or Salus Fitness Center for free showers.  Stay safe by knowing what the city says about sharing the road.
