• August 2-3, 2023: Returning Resident Advisors

• August 12-13, 2023: Peer Mentors 

Training

• August 1-2, 2023: Lead Resident Advisor & Desk Manager Training 

• August 1-3, 2023: New Resident Advisor Training

• August 4-14, 2023: New & Returning Resident Advisor Training (Prep days August 15 - 17, 2023)

• August 14-16, 2023: Peer Mentor Training 

Welcome Week

• August 18 - 22, 2023: Move In & Welcome Week

• August 23, 2023: Classes Begin

Exemption Requests

• Reasons to be exempt from training: Financial Need, Course Requirements, once-in-a-lifetime events

• Please fill out this form to request an exemption by July 14, 2023 at midnight 

New Employee Requirements

• I-9 Documentation: You will be required to complete an I-9 form upon your return to campus. This document is a federal requirement for all SLU employees and is managed by SLU’s Human Resources department. You cannot start working or receive compensation if this document is not complete. 

  • Original Documents: In order to successfully complete your I-9, you are required to present original and unexpired versions of documents (see attached PDF) that verify either your identity and/or your authorization to be employed. Please review the List of Acceptable Documents and the requirements for I-9 verification. Give yourself plenty of time to locate these original documents and/or renew anything that might have expired so you are prepared to present them to our Human Resource colleague upon your first day of work.
