May 19 - Soft RA release date. You must complete all assigned tasks before departing. If you have an on-call/desk shift scheduled between the 19th and the 22nd, you are still expected to cover this shift.
By April 28
Hang the closing bulletin board on your floor and any additional closing marketing. Take down all other bulletin boards/signs/flyers in your area.
Check for any expired signage on all floors, doors, elevators and lobbies.
Schedule closing floor/community meeting between April 25-May 3 and communicate with residents about attendance.
April 25- May 3
Hold a closing floor/community meeting. Meet individually with all students who are unable to attend.
Utilize information from the closing bulletin board materials
May 1
Check out informational half-sheets should be placed on every resident door.
May 7
Post signs regarding 24 hour quiet hours starting on May 9.
May 11
Bring moving bins to the lobby.
Ensure there is a check out system in place with the desk before bringing moving bins to the lobby
By May 11
Schedule all check-out meetings with students on your floor/building.
Post signs regarding trash rooms being locked during closing. (May 11 closure)
Dumpsters will be delivered by May 11th
May 10 through May 17
Conduct check-out meetings with residents moving out.
Make sure all damage photos are labeled and uploaded to Drive folder.
Update damage tracking document with any damages found.
Walk your floor daily. Make sure your hallways are clean and trash is taken out. Have students move things that don’t belong in the hallways/stairwells.
Schedule a walk-through of your floor/area with your RHC to occur May 17-22.
May 17 through May 19
Remove all bulletin boards and butcher block paper.
Remove all flyers and floor decorations.
Remove all door decorations.
Turn in all closing documents and update spreadsheets.
Clean and organize student staff common space (resource rooms, kitchens, conference rooms, student offices, etc.).
Throw away all perishable items.
Donate non-perishables (canned items…etc.)
Sign-up for any desk shifts that need filled.
Clean and organize the general lobby or classrooms.
Do an inventory of general equipment and lounges on your floor (note how many chairs, couches, tables) and give to your supervisor.
When leaving
Return student staff name tag to RHC/GHC.
Thoroughly clean your room/apartment and take out trash.
Walk through your floor one more time with your supervisor.
Complete a check out of your assignment with your supervisor.

Duty Schedule and Log
The roster of RAs and PMs living in Grand can be found on the first tab. The second tab contains the Fall on-call schedule including weekdays and weekends shifts. The third tab has the duty-log that every RA will fill out after every shift. When filling out the duty log, please place any IR's filed under anything to report with the confirmation number. The Notes section is for noting any maintenance or building concerns that do not merit IR submissions (i.e. a room with a noise complaint). This is important for keeping a record of maintenance problems in shared spaces and for recognizing "patterns" of warnings with rooms. The other tabs are future on-call scheduling.

Before
-Fill out the Grand Hall Program Proposal Form below by the 15th of the preceding month
-Post flyers (digital and physical) at least 1 week prior to the program
- Fill out purchase request form at least ONE WEEK in advance of purchase
- Use the P-Card once program is approved and place receipt in RHC office (Grand 157)
During
-Note attendance
-Take pictures/videos of program
After
-Fill out assessment form below within 48 hours of program
-Remove flyers and properly clean up event (This includes properly storing any extra items from event)

Building Upkeep
Each RA will be responsible for maintaining the orderliness of common spaces on their floors as follows:
A Wing - Small lobby and study room 1
B Wing - Kitchen or laundry room
C Wing - Large lobby and study room 2
Monday Mornings: 8-10am
Friday Mornings: 8-10am
