THE LOUISIAN SCOUTING FAMILY
The Rovers Scouts has become a stepping phase for the juniors once they enter Senior High School. With this, this page is created to acknowledge the efforts of the two organizations and an academic program of the SLU BEDS- Junior High. This marks inclusivity in the school and a sense of brotherhood, sisterhood, and, most importantly, camaraderie among all Scouts.

GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES
The Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) is the national Girl Scouting association for girls and young women in the Philippines. Its objective is to teach and help girls and young women build their confidence and character. It offers various and countless opportunities and privileges for growth and self-development that prepares themselves for their responsibilities in home, nation, and world community. Girl Scouts are known to be friendly, cheerful scouts who help maintain order and peace of the community. They are disciplined yet very fun to be around with, they are confident in themselves and in others and they are always there to lend a helping hand. In addition, GSP highlights environmental stewardship and invites members to participate in conservation and sustainability-related projects. Local troops frequently work with groups and leaders in the community to carry out service programs that cater to local needs. Members gain a strong sense of accountability and a dedication to having a good impact on their communities as a result of these experiences. The GSP encourages an accepting environment where ladies from various backgrounds can interact and share experiences. The Girl Scouts of the Philippines are vital in forming the future leaders of the nation because of their emphasis on community involvement and personal development. SCHOOL EVENTS
The Joint Camping of the BSP, GSP, assisted by the Rover Scouts, was held on May __, 2024. This was held just right after their Investiture.
Even though it is a joint camping event, the Boy Scouts were in the Gerard Decaestecker Bldg. Meanwhile, the Girl Scouts were in the Charles Pieter Covered Court.
The night of their camping was allotted for their respective games, and the morning was more on Physical Training. The BSP did a __km jog. Meanwhile, the GSP did their clean and green activity near the campus.
Investiture is one of the most important phases in a Scout's life. It is the time that they announce their commitment to the Scout Law. This is also the age when they want to leave their parents behind, explore the world, and attempt to make a place for themselves in it. The goal of Scouting is for a Scout to have a significant role in the identity that these young people develop.
31 Girl Scouts
25 Boys Scouts
The SLU Rovers Scouts were not part of the event but joined to witness and assist their juniors.
When there are school-wide events, you're sure to see Scouts and the CTP roaming about. They marshal around to ensure that all the students are all disciplined and not causing a ruckus during those events. They make sure that students will still follow the rules that are still present during these events.
