Munazza Qurashi : My name is Munazza and I am 71 years old. I got to know about the technology course through the women 's centre of Halton. I knew basic computer skills but wanted to learn about zoom so that I can start my own zoom online classes. Aamna is an amazing instructor. We had our class every Thursday with her through zoom. She has amazing patience and is a very knowledgeable person. extremely organized. At times she would give extra time to answer all our questions and would give extra sessions.
I learned a lot through this program. I have started my own teaching business through zoom and all thanks to Aamna and her hard work !
Now I want to learn excel and the Microsoft words. and I want the class to be longer than 1 hour with less students.
Jean Wright : this course is just what i need. starting at the basics is wonderful for someone who is self taught. most of my questions in the past i have solved on google.
i had my laptop serviced last fall. i told them not to change anything, but when i picked it up there were changes to nearly everything, and i felt i had to start from scratch.
email was confusing,, but now i feel confident. I would like to forward on messages i have received to friends. i would like to take photos and send them on to friends. I would like to send zoom too. I would like to send documents. I would like help in making documents, as i am presently writing short stories and would like to know if i am doing everything right.
110 seniors served in the Hamilton and Halton region through virtual and in person delivery, group and one on one session with the oldest participant of the program being 93!
