Changes to the CSUBUY Amazon Punchout Catalog [May 21, 2026]
On Monday, May 18, CSUBUY and Amazon implemented a new purchasing policy with the goal of improving product availability while reducing shipping costs to all CSU campuses.
During this evaluation period, the CSUBUY system will allow and restrict Amazon punchout purchases as follows.
Available for purchase:
Non-Prime items with free shipping
eBooks and other items with no shipping fees
Restricted:
Non-Prime items with a shipping charge
If shipping charges appear during checkout, please submit a CSUBUY ticket through Optimize and await further instruction.

CSUBUY P2P Punchout Orders [May 8, 2026]
In order to ensure punchout supplier invoices are processed correctly and paid on time, please follow this guideline regarding “Amount-Only/Blanket PO” checkbox under PO Information:
For all punch-out catalog purchases, please select the “Amount-Only/Blanket PO” checkbox under PO Information.
For all other purchases, please use the “Amount-Only/Blanket PO” option only if the order is being set up as a blanket order.
Enhancements for Separation of Duties in CSUBUY [as of May 8, 2026]
DOA Approvers will no longer see punchout catalog tiles or purchasing forms (such as Direct Pay, Goods and Services, IT Software, etc.) in their CSUBUY interface.
Separating those who create requests and those who approve them strengthens our internal checks and balances and helps us meet audit requirements.
