Fun and engaging programs improve literacy for children, teens, and families and connect people together. Improved literacy also means better quality of life and educational opportunities. However, program planning requires time, patience, and dedicated staff. This can be a challenge for any library. These programming resources include information for at-risk youth, cultural relevancy, passive programming, story hour, and teen and tween book clubs.
