Religion

Students are finishing up their understanding the basis for our Catholic faith and the guidance we receive through sacred tradition and scripture. Over the next several weeks, we will be looking very closely at Salvation History and God's Covenant to us.  

This past week we started student-lead prayer services. I forgot to take pictures, but I will certainly do better moving forward. Ask your student about Lamb Cakes :D

We finished up a lesson on examining the Servant Songs from the Book of Isaiah. Students were brilliant in their discussions and examinations. 

We also had our first 8th grade day of prayer this past Friday. Students are invited to engage in prayerfulness through several different self-guided stations around the room. This day of prayerful activity, contemplation and focus was exceptionally well-received by the students. Below are some pictures.
