A Michigan State Requirement
In accordance with Michigan Compiled Law (MCL 380.1293), nonpublic schools, including St. John, are required to provide students in grades 8–12 with a Post-Graduation Opportunities Informational Packet by October 1 each school year.
This state requirement is intended to ensure students and families have access to information about opportunities after graduation, including college, career training, employment, financial aid, and other pathways.
Pathfinder is part of Michigan's resources for helping students and families explore these opportunities. We are pleased to share this resource with our families as part of our commitment to preparing students for their future.

Pathfinder will generate a personalized educational roadmap to help guide students toward their chosen career destination. Roadmaps can also be saved, emailed, and printed for future reference.
Whether your child already has a career in mind or is just beginning to explore their interests, this is a wonderful opportunity to start conversations about their God-given gifts, talents, and the many ways they can use them to serve others in the future.

I apologize for the delay in my update! We are moving in middle school.
6th History is working on a Paleolithic Survival guide.
6th Religion will be starting to examine the old testament stories and our salvation history.
7th Religion will are wrapping up our understanding of David and will begin to examine and study the Gospels.
8th Relgion is wrapping up our study of the Servant Song.

As we wrapped up the first quarter, this week brought some challenges for students. However, I am encouraged by the growth I am seeing! Students who have been developing strong organizational skills and consistent study habits are beginning to see their hard work pay off, and I expect them to continue to shine. For those still working to strengthen these skills, the second quarter offers a fresh opportunity to put what they’ve learned into practice, build confidence, and continue making progress. I look forward to seeing everyone grow and succeed in Q2!
