✍️ Writing Update
On Monday, our 6th graders will wrap up their verb unit with a test before moving into our new unit on adjectives! We’ll explore how adjectives add detail and description to sentences, making our writing more interesting and engaging. Students will have opportunities to practice these skills through fun, fall-themed activities as we kick off the second quarter!

Next week, we’re getting into the Halloween spirit as we kick off our new unit on adjectives! Students will explore how adjectives bring writing to life by adding vivid details and descriptions. We’ll practice identifying and using adjectives through fun, Halloween-themed activities as we work toward making our writing more creative and descriptive. It’s going to be a spooktacular week of learning!

Next week, our 8th graders will focus on descriptive writing using adjectives! Students will explore how carefully chosen words can create vivid imagery, establish mood, and bring their writing to life. Through creative, Halloween-inspired writing activities, students will practice showing rather than telling and using sensory details to help readers visualize their ideas. We're looking forward to a spooktacular week of creative writing!
